Retro-ize your tile for cheap

Well, let’s say Retro-ize your tile for cheap-ER; cheaper than installing new tile, that is. And I’m all about looking for cheap these days. The holidays being what they are, we have “No-fun February” (christened thus by my sister a few years ago) to look forward to as our pocketbooks recover. (Isn’t “pocketbook” the greatest word for purse?) So that means I’m on the hunt for cool stuff that doesn’t cost a jillion dollars.

To kick that off, we have these neato tile decals. The sellers at 2Jane say that the “tattoos” stand up against your wettest walls which sounds like a challenge to me. I love stuff like this because it’s a great way to add a custom look to the most expensive-to-redo rooms in your home without spending much cash AND it’s friendly to renters. I also have to kind of wonder what I could fashion if I applied a bunch of these to the car.

Those are very cool. Good find! I like that site. I’m all for putting the decals on other places than on tiles. :D I bet they’d look cool on a computer or TV, if they’d stick.

What a great idea! Tiles can get real boring, real fast.
