Always Room for Cool – Break the Bank

Well this beats the hell out of my mason jar for stylish coin collection. But the mason jar was already head and shoulders above my previous change preservation strategy: Scoop it from the bottom of the washer when it empties out of my pants pockets.

This little piggy took a seat at the make-up counter. A little definition around the eyes, some bold contrast behind the cheeks, and voila, a graphic new take on a childhood favorite. Any money you put in there, though, may be gone forever. This here piggy has just the one top slot. So unless you have the patience to shake your quarters out through the in-door, you’ll have to hammer the little guy open to get the cash.

It could be a great tool to teach a kid or yourself self-discipline, I suppose. I mean, I’d shatter it for the right flea-market jackpot, but it’s pretty safe from a run-of-the-mill coffee or ice cream attack.
