I love when they dial phones like that in old movies. I so wish I had an old service sign with an exchange name on in like “Al’s Plumbing GL3-2700.” In fact, the next time I get my business cards printed I think I’ll use the exchange name for my contact number. Excellent.

To go with my vintage phone number I really want this vintage phone. How cool is this? It’s not a reproduction. It’s the real deal from the 1960s. (Recycled and therefor not sitting in a landfill.) There aren’t too many to be had so if you want one, snap it up. Uncommon Goods says that when they’re gone they’re gone and, tragically, the orange and white ones are already sold out.
